Delta State University Signs Strategic MoU with National Taiwan Ocean University
On March 29, 2022, Delta State University (DELSU), Nigeria, and National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), Taiwan, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster a robust academic and research partnership. This five-year agreement aims to enhance the educational experience and research capacity at both institutions.
The partnership focuses on various collaborative activities, including faculty and student exchanges, dual degree and joint degree programs, joint research initiatives, and the exchange of educational materials and academic publications. In line with these objectives, a DELSU delegation visited NTOU in November 2022 to discuss implementation strategies and explore additional collaborative opportunities, such as a workshop on sustainable aquaculture and capture fisheries to be held at DELSU.
This partnership underscores DELSU’s commitment to academic excellence and international collaboration, further advancing research and development in aquaculture, marine biology, and environmental sustainability.
