The Centre for Research and International Programmes was established by the Senate of Delta State University at its meeting of 25th January, 2005. The purpose of the Centre is to build relationships and contacts with other universities within and outside Nigeria, research institutions, companies, agencies and governments for the promotion of research and training, scholarship and international understanding. The Centre is a specialized unit under the Vice Chancellor’s office and is headed by a Director, who is assisted by a Deputy Director, and other administrative staff.
