  • Dr Andrew O. Agbada studied at the University of Benin, Benin City, where he obtained a B.Sc degree in Accounting and M.Sc degree in Banking Finance. He obtained a Ph.D degree in Banking and Finance from Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO), Nigerian premier private University. He is also an Associate member (ANIMN) of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, an Associate member (AITD) of the Nigerian Institute for Training and Development and holds the Part 1 certificate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria. Dr Agbada has previously taught Finance and Banking courses at Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO) and Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Presently, he is a Lecturer at the Accounting, Banking and Finance Department of Delta State University, (DELSU), Asaba Campus, Nigeria. He has taught in both the undergraduate and postgraduate programs, supervised and discussed PG dissertations and thesis. Prior to his lecturing jobs, he served as a Research Assistant at Center for Econometrics and Allied Research (CEAR); Economics Department, University of Ibadan, Nigeria under Professor S. Olofin - the Pioneer Director. He also served extensively as a practical banker at various Management levels with First Bank of Nigeria Plc. Dr Agbada has a total of 26 Publications to his credit comprising of 10 international publications in indexed journals (Scopus & other indexing bodies), 3 publications in CBN Bullion, 7 publications in Nigerian journals, 5 publications as Chapter Contribution in Books and 1 Text Book having both local and international editions and forwarded by a Professor. The international edition published by LAMBERT Academic Publishing in Germany is displayed in some international bookshops such as ‘Amazon.com’ (google ‘Banking Methods and Processes’ to view). Also, one of his publications in an international journal titled ‘International Review of Management and Business Research (IRMBR)’ won best paper award of an issue of the journal and that earned me a position as an Editorial Board member of the journal. He has participated in reviewing of articles for both local and international journals.
