Dr. Theophilus Miebi GBIGBI is a lecturer at the Delta State University in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, Asaba campus. He hails from Bomadi town in Bomadi local government area. He is a graduate of the Federal University of Technology Akure and University of Nigeria Nsukka with B.Agric Tech, M.Sc and Ph.D in Agricultural Economics. Dr. Gbigbi is also a pastor, facilitator and a community leader. Previously, Dr. Gbigbi has acquired a well of experience having worked in various capacity both in the military and as a civilian. He has attended a lots of workshops to enhance his teaching profession. He is also a data analyst. He has taught various courses both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has served in different capacity since joining the university as SIWES member, member examination monitoring committee, member Faculty Transcript and Result Committee, member examination malpractice committee, Departmental Transcript Officer, member Faculty Screening Committee for 100L students, Course Adviser, member Departmental Courses Curriculum Review Committee, Secretary Entertainment Sub-Committee for ASN, Delta, member Post Graduate Departmental Thesis Proposal Review Committee, Secretary Departmental Board, officer in charge of NYSC Matters and other Official Duties Assigned by the Head of Department. He is an erudite scholar who has published in foreign and national Journals and has also attended and published in conference proceedings. He is happily married with children.
