  • Professor Nmorsi obtained both his B.Sc. Zoology (First Class Honors) in 1987 and M.Sc. in Zoology (Parasitology) in 1990 from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He obtained his Ph.D. in Parasitology, in 1992 from the Edo State University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria. He obtained Diploma in Tropical Medicine in 2007 and obtained a Doctor of Medicine MD in 2009 from the University of Science, Arts and Technology, Montserrat, British West Indies. He also obtained his license as a Certified Medical Practitioner endorsed by Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria in 2012 and a Diploma in family medicine in 2019 from National postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, Ijanikin, Lagos. He is a renowned Professor of Parasitology (2003 till date). He has occupied several notable positions in the then Edo State University, Ekpoma now, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and beyond. Prof. Nmorsi is a renowned and prolific scholar. This is evident in the several quality projects he has supervised for undergraduates, postgraduate diplomas, masters and Ph.D students. He has over 100 outstanding articles published in Scopus Indexed International, National and Local Journals and has six textbooks to his credit. Nmorsi is a Member, Nigeria Society of Parasitology and Public Health, and Nigerian Medical Association.
