Uchendu Jude Obiora hailed from Enugu State, Nigeria. He is a Christian, a philanthropist and is married with four children. He got his MBBS from University of Benin in 2002 and is a fellow of West African College of Physicians (since 2012). He is a member of Nigerian Medical Association and Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria. He is a currently an Associate Professor in Department of Morbid Anatomy/Histopathology in Delta State University, (DELSU) Delta State, Nigeria, and an honorary consultant in the department of Pathology of Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH)Delta State. He has served in the University in many occasions as head of department and Pathology exams coordinator. He is currently the head of Department of Medical Microbiology, DELSU, and the coordinator of DELSUTH Pathology and Laboratory Services. He has authored 2 books and has 50 scientific articles in Pathology and Forensic Medicine.
