  • Prof Callistar Kidochukwu Obi is a Professor in the Department of Economics, Faculty of the Social Sciences, Delta State University, Abraka. She holds a Ph.D degree in Economics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), an M.Sc degree in Economics from University of Benin, Benin City, B.Sc degree in Economics from Delta State University, Abraka and NCE (Economics /Geography) from College of Education, Agbor. She specialises in Development Economics, Macroeconomics and Public Finance. She is a life member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), has published widely in both National and International scholarly and reputable Journals and has attended National and International Conferences. She has held administrative positions in the University, a one time Deputy Director, Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES) and currently, Acting Director, Centre for Continuing Education Programme (CCEP). She is a Data Analyst, a diligent Academic, hardworking and has a team spirit. Takes pleasure in research, reading and singing.
