  • Oboreh, Jacob Snapps PhD is a Professor of Operations Research and Management in the Department of Business Administration, Delta State University, Nigeria. His research interest are inter-related which is focused on optimizations techniques to resolve business problems and improvement of the student's experience. His current projects include understanding how students make work placement decisions using operations research techniques and investigating the learning experiences of business students working in global virtual teams. He is a Member of Academy of Management Nigeria, Member North East Business & Economic Association (NBEA), USA and a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Administrative Managers Nigeria (F.Inst.AM) Within a period of his over 22 years teaching experience, he has held high profile roles in tertiary institutions such as, Head of department, Business Administration, Rector/ CEO, Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro. Currently, he is the Managing Director, Delta State University Investment Limited (DIL) . These positions have made him to continue to work closely with indusries and professional bodies in developing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as developing business algorithms for the industries. He has also actively supervised PhD students, and most of his former PhD students now hold academic positions in several universities both in Nigeria and overseas He is well traveled, having attended several business conferences within Nigeria and abroad. Since 2012, he has served as a referee, guest editor and editorial board member of several academic journals both in Nigeria and overseas.
