Department of Biochemistry
Fidelis Ifeakachuku Achuba holds a B.Sc, an M.Sc Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Benin, Nigeria in 1993 and 1997, respectively. He obtained Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, specializing in toxicology and ecotoxicology from Delta State University, Abraka. He is currently a Professor of Biochemistry at Delta State University, Abraka. Achuba’s research interest is on Phytomedicine, Production of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from herbs and species, re-use and application of organic waste in agriculture, biochemistry and physiology of toxicants and ecotoxicology.
