  • Professor Victor F. Peretomode, (FNCIPA, FNIM, MNAE) is a professor of Educational Administration and Higher Education Administrtion. He has been a professor since June, 1996 (about 24 years now). He holds the following degrees/qualifications: (1). B.Ed. (Hons.) Political Science,University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria, June 1979; (2). M.S. Educational Administration, Oklahoma State University,Stillwater, USA., May 1982 (Distinction); (3). Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), Higher Education Administration, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, USA, May 1984(Distinction); (4). Post-Doctoral M.A. Political Science (International Relations & Comparative Politics), Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, USA. July 1985 (Distinction). He has distinguished himself in the area of Higher Education Administration and has researched and written extensively in the area of Education Administration. He has over 109publications comprising authored and co-authored books; articles in both Local, National, International, Peer Reviewed and Indexed Journals of repute; Chapters in Books, Published Proceedings, and Technical Reports. He has taught over 27 Education-based courses in the following institutions for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs: Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, USA, 1981-1985 (as a Graduate Research Associate & Teaching Assistant ); Rivers State College of Education, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in 1986; Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt (now Rivers State University, Port Harcourt) 1986-1989; University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt. 1989-1991; Bendel State University, Ekpoma (now Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma) 1991-1992; University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria (Sabbatical) 1999-2000; University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria (Sabbatical) 2011-2012, and presently, a visiting Professor in the Department of Curriculum Studies, Educational Management & Planning, University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria (on Sabbatical). He has served as external Examiner in 6 Universities, and served as external Assessor to 11 Universities, and has supervised over 25 Ph.Ds. He has served as a Federal Commissioner representing Delta State on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for 4 years wherein his duties included planning and assisting in formulating policies on Education, including Higher Education in the Niger Delta Region. He was the Chairman, National Implementation, Monitoring and Advisory Committee for the Integration of Out-of-School Children in the South-East and South-South States of Nigeria into the Basic Education Programme from 2012-2015. Prof.V.F.
