  • Uwomano Benjamin OKPEVRA is a Professor of Peace and Conflict History; Intergroup Relations and International Studies with a robust scholarly profile in his area of research interest in the Department of History and International Studies, Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. He holds a B.A. History of the Edo State University, Ekpoma; an MA in History, from the University of Ibadan; an M.A. (Divinity), from Saint Theological College and Seminary, Lagos 2006; and a Ph.D., in History & International Studies of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. He is an Associate Editor with Common Ground Publishing, University of Illinois Research Park, U.S.A. an Editorial Council Member and Pioneer Editor-in-Chief, of the International Scholar Journal of Arts and Social Science Research (ISJASSR), Associate Editor, of the International Journal of African Society, Cultures and Traditions (IJASCT)and a Member of, the Editorial Board, CARI Journals. He reviews manuscripts for several reputable National and International Journal outfits; and is also, on the Editorial Board of several National and International Journals. He is a member of the Historical Society of Nigeria (MHSN), a member of Nigeria Institute of International Affairs (MNIIA), a Fellow African Academics Network (FAAN) and a Fellow, of the Ife Institute of Advanced Studies (FIIAS), and a Jerusalem Pilgrim (JP). He is a Resource Person to the Peace Advocacy Programme, Department of Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Governor’s Office Asaba, Delta State. A Boundary Scholar, (Representing Delta South Senatorial District) in the Delta State Boundary Committee (DSBC).
