A University of Leeds School of Design Alumni, graduated with a 2:1 in Art and Design (2018). Abigail Egwunyenga is interested in patterns and cultural influences of globalization on African Art and Africans artist in diaspora. As a result of which she has decided to express her art with printmaking and laser cutting. the artist's work is highly influenced by West African textiles and historical art. Abigail Egwunyenga also earned the graduate print award from the university of Leeds which was accompanied with and paid 2 month artist residency at East Street Arts.
