  • Obed Uchenna Chukwuka hails from Ute-Okpu in Ika North-East of Delta State. He is a Christian Theologian with a major interest in Liberation Theology. He obtained Diploma in Theology in 2005 from Immanuel College of Theology, Ibadan an affiliate of University of Ibadan. He obtained Diploma in Religious Studies and Bachelor of Arts BA (Hons.) both from the prestigious University of Ibadan in 2004 and 2011 respectively. He also holds a Master of Arts (M.A) degree in Christian Theology from Delta State University, Abraka in 2018. Before he joined the Academia, he has served as a Priest in the Diocese of Ika, Church of Nigeria – Anglican Communion since 2005. He served as Host Chaplain of Our Saviour’s Chapel, Delta State University, Site II, Abraka. Chukwuka, Obed joined the Department of Religious Studies and Philosophy, Faculty of Arts of Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State in 2018 as an Assistant Lecturer. Ever since, he is a member of Faculty of Arts Prayer Committee, the University Chaplain and Secretary Academic Board of the Department of Religious Studies and Philosophy.
