  • Dr. Ugherughe is a philosopher par excellent in the field of investment analysis, portfolio management, financial mathematics, development finance and the marketing of financial services especially as they apply to the capital market for the development of the world economy in general and human development index in particular. This was shown in his Ph.D. thesis before the World Bank Group evolves the idea of using the capital market to reduce poverty in Africa. His works are geared toward moving finance from its present state to the one of thinking outside the box. In all these, he was recently invited to the World Summit on Management Sciences holding in Thailand organised by the SciTech Central Incorporated, U.S.A to orally present his Ph.D. thesis. In a bid to gain more knowledge in the area of the marketing of financial services and financial product development, he became an associate member of the National Institute of Marketing Nigeria - ANIMN. He is also a member of the Academy of Management Nigeria - MAMN, the highest body of Management Sciences in Nigeria. He is currently working on “Financial Inclusion and ‘Ususu' Model in Nigeria" with the help of a post-doctorate programme in the United States he is prospecting. Dr. Ugherughe looks forward to becoming an award-winning expert in the field of financial modeling and development finance.
