- Professor Patrick Chuks Ajieh holds a PhD degree in Agricultural Extension with specialization in Agricultural Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He joined the services of the Delta State University, Abraka as an Assistant Lecturer on 13th January, 1993 and rose to the rank of Professor on 1st October, 2015. Professor Ajieh has been involved in teaching and supervision of students in both the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He has successfully supervised and graduated many M.Sc and PhD students.
Proessor Ajieh has numerous academic publications in reputable journals to his credit and is a member of many academic and professional bodies which include: Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON); Agricultural Extension Network (AgREN); and the Society for Extension Education, Agra (SEEA). He is involved in consultancy services and has served as resource person to conferences, seminars and workshops. He has at different occasions served as a Team Leader or member of various research teams. His research focus is on technology adoption and information seeking behaviour of farmers.
