  • Dr. Mrs. Loretta Chukwudumebi Overah received her Bachelor of Science, (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria in 2001and served as an Assistant Lecturer in the College of Agriculture, Lafia in Nasarawa State under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme. She obtained her Masters' degree in Physical Chemistry from The University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2009. In 2015, she bagged a Ph.D degree in the area of Physical/Nanochemistry partly at the University of Ibadan (awarding institution) and The University of Kwazulu-Natal, Durban (Bench work/2013). Her teaching and research career started in 2007 when she was employed as a Graduate Assistant in The Delta State University, Abraka and was later upgraded to Assistant Lecturer in 2009 after obtaining her Masters' degree. She is currently a Lecturer I by rank.
