  • Dr. Egbule Olivia Sochi is presently an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Delta State University, Abraka . She earned a Ph.D in Microbial Genetics in 2015 and has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses for over ten years. Dr.Egbule is an urbane, goal-driven and focused academic dedicated to teaching, learning and research with keen eyes for details. She is widely published in both local and international journals ,and actively participates in professional conferences, workshops and meetings. Her research interests include Antimicrobial Resistance and Resistance Genes, Mobile Genetics Element Transfer, Food Safety and Public Health. She is presently the Head of the Department of Microbiology, Delta State University, Abraka.
