  • PROFESSOR SUNDAY HONESTY OKOBIA EGBOH, JP Professor Sunday Honesty Okobia Egboh is a highly experienced professional Chemist and a licensed Public Analyst with over three decades of experience in teaching, research and administration. I obtained B.Sc. (First Class Honours) in Chemistry from University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, Diploma of Imperial College (DIC) and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the prestigious Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from City University Business School, London. My main research thrust has been in the areas of Polymer Science and Technology, Entrepreneurship Development and Environmental Management. As an active researcher, I have published several articles in reputable Journals and presented papers at both local and International conferences. Some of my contributions include the development of hemodialysis membranes for the removal of wastes in artificial kidney, the modification of cassava starch for the textile industry, the utilization of locally available eco-friendly, natural products for sustainable elastomers/rubber and corrosion industries. I also have several International research grants and fellowships. I am a trainer with wide experience in science, environmental management, entrepreneurship development, skills acquisition and community development programmes. I am a good team player with good networking, interpersonal, informational and decisional skills. I have developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills towards sustainable development.
