- Dr. Obata hails from Ibusa in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State. She has B.A (Language Arts), M.Ed and Ph.D degrees in Adult Education from the University of Ibadan. She is currently a lecturer in the department of Educational Management and Foundation, Delta State University, Abraka.
