  • OLADOSU, Gbenga Samuel of the Department of Home Economics (Food and Nutrition option), Delta State University is a distinctive young scientist and research enthusiast in Nutrition and Dietetics. He is a Full Member of the Nutrition Society of Nigeria and one of the winners of the 2022 Young Scientist Award of the Society. He had his first degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun state where he received an award of excellence as Bright Brain of the Year (2021) presented by the College of Food Science and Human Ecology Student Association (COLFHECSA). He also had a Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics at The Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun state. He volunteered as Dietetics Intern at the Nutrition and Dietetics Department, Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun state (2021/2022) and University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo state (2015 and 2019). He also worked as a Quality Control officer at De-shalom Pharmaceutical Industry, Iloko Ijesha, Osun state (2017). As part of his effort toward community development, he has participated in many rural outreaches aimed at improving the nutritional status of vulnerable groups, especially adolescents, and humanitarian services as a Nigerian Red Cross Society member. The erudite has assisted and researched alongside reputable personalities in Science, Nutrition, and health. Oladosu Gbenga Samuel has participated and presented in many seminars, workshops, and conferences in the field of Nutrition and Public health. He has authored and co-authored articles and publications in the area of Nutrition and Health. His area of interest in research includes; Community Nutrition and Health, Clinical Nutritional Biochemistry, and Micronutrient malnutrition among vulnerable groups. His leisure interest includes; Reading, Teaching, Research, and Travelling
