  • Umukoro, Ese Steven is a Mass Communication (Communication and Media Studies) lecturer whose mission is to make global impact in his chosen profession. He is a product of his Alma Mater, which is the Department of Mass Communication, Delta State University, Abraka, where he bagged his Bachelor’s degree. From there, he proceeded to the Department of Mass Communication (Jackson Building), University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he bagged his Master’s degree. Because of his undying love and quest for knowledge in the field of Mass Communication (Communication and Media Studies), he went back to Jackson Building, that is, the Department of Mass Communication, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he is currently doing his doctoral programme. His past experiences of over 10 years in both print and broadcast media before joining the academic services of the Delta State University, Abraka, are added advantages to him. These experiences are helping him to discharge his teaching, research and community service responsibilities effectively and efficiently. Mr Umukoro has articles and papers which are published in peer reviewed journals both locally and internationally. He has also contributed a chapter to a published book. His vision is to become a Nigerian and an African scholar in the field of Mass Communication (Communication and Media Studies) with global online and offline academic visibility.
