About Department
The B.Sc. Public Administration Degree Programme of the Department of Public Administration was created from the Department of Political Science arising from resource verification exercise conducted in 2022 by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The Senate of the Delta State University, Abraka approved its relocation to the Faculty of Management Science. The Department of Public Administration is growing steadily with a sizeable number of scholars in specialized areas of Public Administration supported by scholars from the Department of Political Science and other sister Departments of the Faculty of the Social and Management Sciences. The Pioneer and current Acting Head of Department is Prof. Onofere Princewill OKEREKA.
