  • Ignatius Nkonyeasua Njoseh obtained his B.Sc. (Ed) degree in Mathematics from Bendel State University, Ekpoma, Nigeria in 1991 and his MSc. degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1997. He obtained his Ph.D. Mathematics in Numerical Analysis, in 2010 from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Benin, Nigeria in 1995 and has been a professional business administrator since 1999 when he obtained his professional MBA degree from the Delta State University, Abraka. Prof. Njoseh became a professor in 2017, and has assumed various academic positions at Delta State University; they include Associate Dean in the Postgraduate School and the Faculty of Science from 2017-2019 and 2012-2016 respectively: Member, Senate of Delta State University 2012 till date; Member, Academic Board of Mathematics Department (1997 till date), Member, Academic Board of Faculty of Science (1997 till date); Coordinator, Undergraduate Project/Research, Dept. of Mathematics (1997-1998); Member, Time-Table/Lecture Monitoring Committee (2016-2019); Chairman, Examination Malpractice Mobile Disciplinary Committee B (2014-2020) and Course Adviser for different academic levels, Dept. of Mathematics (100-400 level) 1993 till date. He has actively been involved as a Member of numerous committees in the university; University Interdenominational Reconciliation/Rededication Committee, University Examination Monitoring Committee, University Certificate Verification Committee, Student Union Electoral Committee, University Time Table/Space Committee, General Studies (GST) Committee, Continuing Education Programme Board, Lecture Monitoring Committee, Faculty of Science Conference Committee and several Postgraduate Oral Examination Panels. He equally was the Business Editor and Reviewer, of the Nigerian Journal of Science and Environment, Staff Adviser, National Association of Ika Students, DELSU Branch, (1999-2018); Staff Adviser, Nigerian Federation of Catholic Students, DELSU Branch (2008 till Date), and Staff Patron, NDLEA Students’ Cadet, DELSU, Abraka, (2010-2018). Outside the University walls, he is a Reviewer for several reputable journals. He was also Chief Examiner, Facilitator and Chairman of mathematics and Further mathematics Panel for the interview of teachers by the Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Asaba in 2019; Resource Personnel on Examination Malpractice to the Delta State Ministry of Higher Education (2014); Consultant on Education (especially on Examination Malpractices/Fake Results/Certificates); Marshal of Exam Ethics Marshal International (2011 till Date); Delta State Coordinator, Exam Ethics Marshal International from 2011 till Date. Prof. Njoseh is an excellent and prolific writer with over 50 quality publications in Indexed, International, National and Local Journals and four chapters in books to his credit. Prof. Njoseh is a member of the Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics, Nigerian Mathematical Society, Mathematical Association of Nigeria, FIRSTMATH Research Team and Exam Ethics Marshals International. He was the Director of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) unit of Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria from April 01, 2020, to March 31, 2024. His areas of interest include; Numerical methods for Deterministic and Stochastic PDEs, Fractional Deterministic and Stochastic PDEs and Integro- and Fractional Integro-Differential Equations.
