  • Professor Olannye Ajulu Peter is a Professor of Marketing and Strategic Management in the Department of Business Administration and Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences, Delta State University, Asaba Campus. He is a transformational strategist and the current Dean of Faculty of Management Sciences, Delta State University, Asaba Campus. He obtained his Ph.D Business Management / Marketing from Delta State University, Abraka, M.Sc. Marketing from University of Lagos, B.Sc. Business Administration from University of Lagos and NCE Business Studies from University of Benin. He has a wealth of experience of well over two decades of teaching and research in tertiary institutions. He has also supervised to completion a good number of undergraduate students’ Projects and Postgraduate Students’ Dissertations and Theses. Professor Olannye, A. P. has held numerous academic, administrative and professional positions, which includes; Head, Department of Business Administration and Marketing 2013 – 2015 and 2017 - 2018, Chairman, Accreditation Committee, Faculty of Management Sciences 2014, Chairman, Faculty Journal and Conference Committee 2015 – 2016. Chairman, Mobile Disciplinary Committee, Delta State University Asaba Campus 2017 – date, Chairman, Local Organising Committee, 2014 -2015 Annual Conference of Faculty of Management Sciences, Delta State University, Asaba Campus, Chairman, Committee on the Fencing of the Illah Section of DELSU, Asaba Campus 2018 to date, Senior Central A&PC Member – Representing Faculty of Management Sciences 2012 -2013, Coordinator , Centre for Entrepreneurship Studies, Delta State University, Asaba Campus 2012 -2017, Coordinator, Continuing Education Programme, Department of Business Administration and Marketing, Delta State University, Asaba Campus 2009 - 2011, Faculty Rep. Postgraduate School Board 2015 – 2019. Professor Olannye is an active member of many professional Associations. Such as; Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNIMN), Fellow, Institute of Direct Sales and Marketing Management (FIDSMM), Member, The Academy of Management, Nigeria (MTAMN), Member Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM). He has serves as the Chairman, Nigerian Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Asaba Delta State Chapter 2012 -2019. He has also, extensively attended, participated and presented papers at both International and National Conferences and Workshops. He is involved in Consultancy Services and has served as a resource person in both Academic and Professional Association Conferences. He is an External Examiner and an Assessor to some Universities and Polytechnics in Nigeria. He has served as a Reviewer to a couple of Academic and Professional Association Journals. Professor Olannye A. P. is the Editor-in – Chief of the Delta State University Journal of Faculty of Management Sciences (DELJOMS), Editor –in – Chief of Journal of Business Studies and Technology Development and member of various Editorial Boards. Professor Olannye, A. P. has published a couple of Books in Marketing Management, Principles of Management, Small Business Entrepreneurship, Business Research Methods and many Chapters contributions in textbooks. He has to his credit many research publications / articles both in International and National Journals in areas of Marketing, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing Research, Business Research, Strategic Marketing etc. Current research area: Green marketing and sustainable development in an emerging economy. His hobbies include Mentorship, Human Development Coaching, Reading, and Humanitarian Services. He is engaged in Community Services. Professor Olannye, A.P. is a reputable Scholar and Researcher, a Team Player with a knack for hard work. He has a good network, has displayed determination, resilience and commitment to excellence.
