  • Mrs. Ayonmike, Chinyere Shirley PhD is a Nigerian Technical Vocational Education and Training(TVET) Expert and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Technical Education, Faculty of Education, Delta State University, Abraka Nigeria. She is the current Head of Department of Technical Education. Ayonmike C.S. has special interest in Industrial Technology Education research, with over 30 research works published in both national and international reputable journals with in a decade in the academic profession. Ayonmike C.S. has a Doctor of Philosophy Degree(Ph.D) Technical Education, Masters of Education (M.Ed) Technical Education, Bachelors Of Science in Education (B.Sc Ed.) Technical Education, and National Certificate in Education (NCE)Technical Education from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, University of Benin, Delta State University,and Auchi Polytechnic respectively. Ayonmike C.S. is a member of academic and professional bodies with distinctive contributions: International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA)-USA-Liaison-Officer (2014-2016), Nigeria Vocational Association (NVA) now Association of Vocational and Technical Educators of Nigeria (AVTEN) -Treasurer (2011-2017), member Australian Vocational Education and Training Research Association(AVETRA), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM),Association for Career Technical Education Research (ACTER) and Society for Digital Information and Wireless Communications (SDIWC), Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN),Nigerian Association of Educational Researchers and Evaluators (NAERE), and Association for Encouraging Qualitative Education of Nigeria (ASSEQEN). Ayonmike C.S. is the Regional Vice President IVETA Eastern and Western Africa. She has presented scholarly papers in over 20 national and international conferences organized by academic institutions and TVET associations in USA, Jamaica, Uganda,South Africa, Malta and Nigeria. She successfully facilitated the 2019 IVETA International Conference in Abuja Nigeria. Ayonmike C.S is an IVETA Award winner of The Joel Magisos Exceptional Service Award 2018. This is awarded to recognize long-term individual achievement in support of IVETA. The award honors the contributions to IVETA of Joel Magisos, a sustaining Charter Member. Ayonmike, C.S. was Coordinator, Pre-Degree Programme Students in Technical Education,2008/2009- 2014/2015 Academic Session. Also, She is the Students' Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) Coordinator for Technical Education since 2015/2016-date. She has read over 10 Postgraduate Thesis at the Faculty and Postgraduate School of the Delta State University, Abraka. As well a Post Graduate Examiner of the University of South Africa ( Ph.D , 2019). Ayonmike C.S. is the Music Director and Conductor of the Warri Choral Society (WCS) a Classical Music Ensemble. She successful composed, Librètor, scored to music and delivered : Anthem for the the Institute of Continue education , Delta State Nigeria (2006) and the Nigeria Vocational Association (NVA) , now Association of Vocational and Technical Educators of Nigeria (AVTEN),( 2019 ).
