Department of Languages and Linguistics
Emeka C. Ifesieh, Professor of Linguistics, teaches Applied linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Linguistics and German in the Department of Languages and Linguistics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka. He has a National Certificate of Education in English and Integrated Science, ZDf and ZMP (German), B.A. German, M.A. Translation (German), M.A. Linguistics, Ph.D. Linguistics and PGD in Theology. He is an author as well as a co-author of many academic journal publications. He is a state Coordinator of a Technical Committee for Development of National Language Policy of Nigeria. He is currently the Head of Department of Languages and Linguistics, DELSU, Abraka.
