  • I am Dr. Patience Akpojena Edo, a lecturer at the Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. I lecture Textile Arts at the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Faculty of Arts. My academic qualifications are the following: Ph.D. in Art. History and Criticism; Master of Arts in Art History and Criticism [Master]; M.F.A. Textiles (Practical Work), [Master]; Fine and Applied Arts Education [B.A. (Ed.)], Nigerian Certificate in Education [NCE] and Teacher Grade Two (TC II). Membership of Learned Professional Association; Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU); The Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA); Art Historical Association of Nigeria (AHAN); Female Artists Association of Nigeria (FAAN); Federal Road Safety Commission (Self Voluntary) to serve the community in particular and offer humanitarian service to the National wide in general. I have thirty creative works/artistic credits and exhibitions on my academy/professional experiences; six researches in different areas within my specialization and fifteen articles in different learned journals.
