 COVID-19:  RESTRICTION OF VISITS TO DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY

 This is to inform staff and the general public that the Management of the Delta State University will no longer entertain visits from delegations, groups, contractors, etc. till further notice.  This is important in order to limit contacts and possible transmission as we enter the community phase of COVID-19 spread.  However, this does not include official Government visits.

 COVID-19:  ADJUSTMENT OF WORKING HOURS IN DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY

 The staff and the general public are hereby informed that the working hours as from Monday, 13th July, 2020, will be from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.  This is in conformity with the State Government earlier directive on working period in the State during the COVID-19 lockdown.

 FREE COVID-19 TEST FOR DELSU STAFF

 As a result of the increasing cases of the pandemic in the State, Delta State University Management, in line with NCDC measures, is requesting members of the University community, particularly those who are experiencing symptoms of malaria within the past two (2) weeks, to volunteer themselves for COVID-19 testing.  The consultation will be purely confidential.  All are hereby advised to key into this arrangement and contact the Director, University Health Services on 07064178022.
