REGISTRATION OF STUDENTS’ VEHICLES IN THE UNIVERSITY

 This is to inform the University Community particularly students who own or use vehicles that Management has directed all such students to register their vehicles as well as obtain identity cards to enable them operate within the university campuses.

 

In the light of the above, all the affected students are by this directive requested to visit the Works and Services Departments, Site I, Abraka, to fill the Registration form on presentation of payment receipt of N1,000.00 (One Thousand Naira Only) from the Bursary Department.

 Closing Date for collection of forms and issuance of identity cards: Monday, January 31, 2022

 NOTE: Only duly registered students will be allowed to drive within the University campuses.

  

ALERT ON DANGER POSED BY BUSH BURNING/FIRE OUTBREAKS

 

The University Management wishes to intimate members of the University Community, particularly staff and students on the prevalent harmattan/dry season and the possible danger it poses.

 

On that note, all members of the University Community have been advised to avoid any form of bush burning as well as comply with all forms of electricity regulations within the University, particularly Halls of Residence, Offices and their surroundings; control of gas valves and avoid misuse of any University property that can lead to fire outbreak.

 

Staff and students are therefore, advised to be very vigilant as to reporting any form of bush burning around the University premises to the Security personnel, Works and Services Department or call the following numbers: 08037783757; 08066745609; 07037291546 & 07062973162
