 COLLECTION OF CODE OF CONDUCT FORM FOR ASSET VERIFICATION

This is to draw the attention of the underlisted staff of the University to the issue of the visit of the Code of Conduct Bureau.  It would be recalled that Management had at different fora reiterated the need for staff to complete the Assets Declaration Form for the purpose of verifying their assets.

 Management is using this medium again to strongly advise the underlisted staff whose Assets Declaration Forms have been sent by CCB, to collect them from the Registrar’s office, complete and submit same on or before Monday, 6th November, 2017, when the Asset Verification exercise is expected to commence.

REPORT OF THE 2017 BATCH ‘B’ PRE-MOBILIZATION WORKSHOP HELD IN UYO, AKWA-IBOM STATE

 

This is to inform staff, students and the University community that the 2017 Batch ‘B’ Pre-mobilization Workshop was held in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom, State from Sunday, 8th – Thursday, 12th October, 2017.    Director General of the National Youth Service Corps in his keynote address highlighted the underlisted acts that would no longer be tolerated by NYSC scheme:

 

i.          Collation and uploading of names of graduates under wrong courses

ii.         Mobilization of graduates of unaccredited courses

iii.        Indiscriminate requests for correction of names/inclusion of additional names

iv.        Collation and entry of graduates data outside institution’s premises

v.         Manipulation of records during correction of error list

vi.        Incessant request for withdrawal of corps members from National Service by institutions

 All final year students (prospective corps members) and staff involved in processing students’ information for NYSC are therefore, advised to take note of this development for their guidance and compliance. 

 2018 LAGOS STATE POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD SCHEME

 The Lagos State Scholarship Board invites application from Postgraduate students of Delta State University, Abraka who are indigenes/origin of Lagos State.

Requirement/Eligibility:

To qualify for the 2018 Lagos State Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme, applicants must:

 

i.    Be Lagos State indigene studying in any tertiary institution across the country

ii.  Have gained full-time admission into any accredited tertiary institution for postgraduate studies (Master or Doctorate)

iii.   Be in their second year or above (admitted on or before 2015/2016 academic session)

iv.   Purchase a scholarship application form. (Payment of N2000:00 for local scholarship) through Revenue Office of the Lagos State Scholarship Board.

 Interested students should apply through www.scholarstica.ng/schemes/lssbpostgraduate on or before 15th December, 2017.
